stopped for tea and sourdough malted barley bread with nut butter and raspberry jam. watched the snow storm drift across the mountain and breathed in the pure air ~ while making wishes for all those near and dear to us. home by the fire after a long hot bath.

saturday morning dutch baby ** a lovely drive out in the hills and valley to Fall City ** a espresso and pastry at Bread Board ** Came upon a flock of 6 male Red necked Pheasants crossing the road ** while hiking at Bald Hill we heard the Great horned Owl calling to his mate, rattling of the Kingfisher down by the creek and rabbits along the edges of the briars eating as the sun was setting.
